The Production of The Wizard of Oz saw many new people from the Bendigo Region get involved. It allowed students and families from a variety of schools, economic, social and religious backgrounds, to come together and celebrate who they are. From actors to singers, painters to builders, costume designers to graphic artists, production team members to welfare team; NEXUS BYT was an incredible trip down the ‘yellow brick road’, preparing for life, love and of course – DRAMA!
Our goal in 2012 was to add an Intern to the NEXUS leadership team, therefore Kristen Else was our intern.

Community involvement was very successful with grants and donations made to help with the budget expenses, especially our major sponsors Stratagem. Through these donations/grants, we were able to provide full/partial scholarships to students with financial needs.
